* It is assumed 32% as Bulgarian energy efficiency average for fossil fuel conversion into electricity and 6500 hours illustrative for Bulgarian baseload plant.
** Total closing capacity of Kozloduy NPP is 1,760 MWe.

To date, the REECL financed projects have saved a total estimated electricity equivalent of 216 301 MWh per year, which is enough energy to heat water for 10 815 061 708 cups of tea or enough to drive a car over 324 451 851 kilometres.

To date, the REECL supported projects have brought reduction in CO2 emissions of 309 691 tonnes per year, which is equivalent to the amount of CO2 annually absorbed by a forest of 11 470 049 trees.
