REECL Programme to date

To date, the REECL Programme has committed to 24086 energy efficiency home improvement projects, financed through personal loans totalling 72 216 720 leva and incentive grants amounting to 12 655 854 leva.

To date, the REECL financed projects have saved a total estimated electricity equivalent of 179 704 MWh per year, which is enough energy to heat water for 8 985 175 338 cups of tea or enough to drive a car over 269 555 260 kilometres.

To date, the REECL supported projects have brought reduction in CO2 emissions of 258 273 tonnes per year, which is equivalent to the amount of CO2 annually absorbed by a forest of 9 565 667 trees.
